Your first visit: What to expect
At Western Regional Orthopedic Center you can always expect
to be greeted by a friendly and caring staff eager to meet
your needs. We want your visit to be as convenient and comfortable
as possible.
If you are a new patient, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes
earlier than your appointment to allow ample time to provide
general information. This information helps us contact you
if necessary and assist us in filing insurance claims. You
can choose to complete a patient
in-take form during your visit or ahead of time by downloading
the document from this web site.
Once the paperwork is complete, a nurse will escort you
to an exam room where an initial evaluation is conducted.
If necessary, you will be sent to our on-site x-ray room for
filmwork.
After a complete examination, Dr. Scheer will discuss your
problem, causes and treatment options. Together, you will
decide the best course of action.
In order to provide comprehensive medical care, it is important
to send a report of our findings to your family physician
and any other providers involved in your care. You may be
asked which medical providers we should send this information
to.
